Welcome to Mid-South Community College’s Assessment

has been created to provide information to faculty, students, College
personnel, and community members on MSCC’s assessment of student
academic achievement. Students at MSCC participate in a variety of
assessment activities, such as pre- and post-testing within the classroom,
evaluation of writing and oral presentation skills, program-level
tests prior to graduation, and student opinion surveys. Through the
collaborative effort of our faculty, administration, and the Assessment
Committee these assessment efforts have been used to drive curricular
and instructional improvements for the purpose of improving student
learning. |
